A Story of Success against terrorism; How Pakistan defeated terrorism through operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Events leading to Operation Zarb-e-Azb & how Pakistan gave a final chance to TTP for peaceful end of hostilities. In 2014, peace negotiations with TTP were announced by then PM Nawaz Sharif, although previous attempts to engage TTP in dialogue had failed. In an address to the National Assembly on 29 Jan 2014, he stated that terrorism must be defeated either by talks or force and he was giving peace a last chance. The government announced its negotiating team first. TTP announced their five-member team on 1 Feb 2014. They did not name any representatives from their ranks and instead nominated four pro-Taliban politico-religious figures to present their views. The fifth nomination was Imran Khan (current PM) which caused a lot of comment. Prime Minister Imran Khan approved Hi-Tech Special Economic Zone (SEZ) approved for NUST.

  News from Official NUST website : Islamabad October 8, 2020 – In a major breakthrough that would give tremendous impetus to Pakistan’s economy, Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved High Tech Special Economic Zone (SEZ) status for the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST). As per the announcement by Board of Investment (BoI), this approval was granted in the 6th meeting of the Board of Approvals chaired by the Prime Minister on October 7, 2020. Through the conferment of this unprecedented status for any Higher Education Institution in Pakistan, NUST has become the only High Tech Special Economic Zone among the 20 SEZs in the country (the remaining being industrial zones). After delivering jets for testing purpose, Pakistan is now all set to make big delivery of JF-17s to Nigeria.

 News of huge success for Pakistan is roaming around. Back in 2019 Nigeria purchased 3 JF - 17  Block II fighter jets and the deal was formally set in motion in March 2019. It was not a big defense deal as Nigeria bought it for testing purposes. But now there are unofficial news that Nigeria is negotiating with Pakistan for 40 of these magnificent jets along with BVR SD-10 missiles, unguided and guided precision bombs and targeting pods. Some reports are saying the number to be much less as 7. But nothing is confirm yet. But one thing is confirmed that JF-17 Thunder is now  war tested as they outperformed superior jets of Indian army such as SU-30 MKI. If Pakistan become successful in selling this huge number, this will be historic and will earn huge profit to Pakistan. Not only this, this deal can build confidence of other potential buyers. This deal could also be a matter of huge shame of India as their own indigenous Tejas has not got this much interest from all over the world. No

Dowry banned in Pakistan, officially.

F ederal  Minister of Religious Affairs   Noor-ul-Haq Qadri   has recently announced that  Pakistan has decided to ban the tradition of dowry. This historic decision has been welcomed in Pakistan overwhelmingly. Even the worst criticizer of PTI government are appreciating government on this issue. This will not only help poor parents but will also promote the culture of marriage. Originally this tradition has no place in Islam but to many years of history with Hindus, Muslims of sub-continent has some how never left this this tradition which basically belongs to Hindu culture. Now, it will be illegal for a man to demand dowry from the parents of girl after the passing of bill. The only things that will be allowed will be clothes for bride and bedsheets
