Dowry banned in Pakistan, officially.



Federal Minister of Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has recently announced that Pakistan has decided to ban the tradition of dowry.

This historic decision has been welcomed in Pakistan overwhelmingly. Even the worst criticizer of PTI government are appreciating government on this issue. This will not only help poor parents but will also promote the culture of marriage.

Originally this tradition has no place in Islam but to many years of history with Hindus, Muslims of sub-continent has some how never left this this tradition which basically belongs to Hindu culture.

Now, it will be illegal for a man to demand dowry from the parents of girl after the passing of bill. The only things that will be allowed will be clothes for bride and bedsheets
